Source is inspired by the balance and harmony of the two source systems that supply water to the Northwest Water Treatment Center - one from above (surface) and one from below (ground). The two sources of water collect together in a spiraling vessel-like shape that also recalls an eddy or circular current occurring along the journey of water as it flows within a river or in the ocean. Source forms an iconic landmark element for viewers from multiple directions, that speaks to the importance of clean, pure water in all of our lives.
