An installation along the RiverWalk in Astoria Oregon refers to the numerous decaying pilings which evoke the city’s history on the banks of the Columbia River. Playing on the dramatic movement of the river tides, the art elements composed of bent acid etched glass fill and empty with water, exposing and then erasing the memories of residents etched on their inside surfaces.
