





Reminiscent of a canoe waiting on the bank of the river for a new voyage, the sculpture creates a spatial and experiential gateway to the South Saskatchewan River. Sunlight shines through dichroic glass-filled perforations in the ribs above casting coloured shadows of aboriginal and non-aboriginal words and related imagery onto surfaces below.
